Our approach

We seek to deliver value for money through our procurement activities.

Our aim is to ensure that procurement activities are undertaken ethically and free of conflict of interest.

This policy applies to all employees, agency staff, contractors, and consultants employed at any stage of our engagement with external providers of works, services or goods.

Procurement itself is the function within our business for buying goods, general services, works, energy, professional services, fleet and logistics (stores items).

It involves sourcing suitable suppliers, agreeing prices and terms, and making a procurement commitment (generally with the award of a purchase order or other form of contract).

It is vital for all individuals involved in the procurement process to strictly adhere to the Company Procurement Rules, Procurement Policy, and follow the established company procurement processes.

By doing so we can effectively ensure that the services provided to our customers are of the highest quality and are sustainable in the long run.

This level of compliance not only upholds our company's standards but also contributes to building trust and reliability with our customers.

Adhering to these guidelines helps to maintain transparency, integrity, and accountability in our procurement practices and ultimately leads to the successful delivery of services that meet and exceed customer expectations.

We use a variety of tools and resources to support the procurement process from internal systems and processes to external third party systems. Each element works to ensure we maximise efficiency and performance.
